It didn’t take long for Din Djarin to decide that his priority was Grogu, although choosing him over his mission as a bounty hunter was very different from breaking a sacred Mandalorian rule. This moment in The Mandalorian season 2, episode 7, solidified once and for all that there was nothing more important to Din Djarin than Grogu.

Din then proved the extent of his love for Grogu that much more in the next episode, The Mandalorian season 2 finale, when he let Grogu go with Luke Skywalker because he believed that was best for him.
